The group of people that ended up snowboarding together after the 2002 Thanksgiving Snowshoe, WV trip (see Mountain High) jokingly started calling themselves the Martini Cowboys. I don’t remember the origin of the term, but I liked it then (and like it now) and decided to name my series of country music playlists in honor of the group.
