This was my “depress tape” for the longest time. I’d listen to it when I’d get down, want to wallow a bit and then need something to lift my spirits.

“The Singles Collection” was the beginnings of my (now) life-long love of compiling the artists and songs I like most and listening to them ad nauseum. While Singles, Tape 1 probably wasn’t made until 8th or 9th grade, it has music that I bought on 45’s as early as 1982.
