Telling My Story
I’ve been struggling to find a way to comprehend what this virus is doing to our world—on both a global and local scale. To help me with that, I decided to start a timeline to document a variety of things.
This weekend I tackled the LEGO Brick Bank.
I love the green color of this building.
This weekend I tackled the LEGO Assembly Square, a 4,002 piece, really cool set.
I recently treated myself to a new LEGO set: the Detective’s Office.
Until today this corner of my dining room table held all the sympathy cards I received after mom died. I had not re-read any of them throughout the year. But today—one year after her funeral—seemed like a good day to re-read them and to let them go.
I didn’t take this photo, but it is a poignant and emotional reminder of September 11 and a powerful and uplifting symbol of American resilience.
I also painted my room a week or so ago.
